the kind of employee who can get the job done, care about
your coworkers, and imagine possibilities, we invite you
to take a look at us.
Our company has much to offer its

 |
 |
On-site child-care and elder-care centers plus nearby
community fitness center
|
 |
a corporate

 |
a unique

package that makes the most sense for your family |
As an employer, we have a lot going for us, and we've been
recognized with several national
awards for the family-friendly workplace we've created.
With one of the lowest employee turnover rates in the analytical
lab business, we're confident our message of caring about
employees rings true. For more than 40 years people have
been building careers with Lancaster Labs and have helped
to make us a national leader. Those careers are built with
a great deal of corporate support as demonstrated in our
generous tuition-reimbursement program, structured employee-development
program, and our dual-career ladders that allow people to
advance in technical areas without getting into management.
The Lancaster Laboratories Family Center houses our child
and adult day-care programs, it's located on our campus
just a minute's walk from our main laboratory facility.
The center, along with all of our caring-based human resources
policies and programs, gives proof of our commitment to
the total person.
Beside all of our employee friendly benefits and perks,
we have another important thing going for us, and that's
our location. Lancaster, a charming, historical city, boasts
a wealth of cultural activities, great restaurants, and
frequent festivals. In the educational sphere, it's the
home of Franklin and Marshall College with Millersville
University located a just few miles outside the city limits.
Our facility, set in an idyllic farm area, is a pleasant
five-mile drive from all of the advantages Lancaster has
to offer. Employees can gaze out over cows grazing or Amish
farmers plowing fields with a team of mules and still be
in the center of a city celebration within 15 minutes. Maybe
that's why Lancaster was named an All American City --it
has the best of everything. For those wanting the stimulation
of large cities, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington,
DC, are all within a few hours drive.
But the serenity of our pastoral surroundings belies the
rapid forward thrust of our company. Our ethical business
practices, dedication to quality, and our employee-friendly
workplace have made us an extremely fast-growing and successful
enterprise. Since our founding in 1961, we've grown to 70
times the space we originally had with our facility currently
occupying a total of 175,000 square feet. In more than four
decades, our employee population has risen from three to
more than 800. And in the past 10 years, our sales have
gone up to $75 million. If you want to hitch your wagon
to a continually rising star, we shine.
