Child-Care, Adult-Day-Services, and Fitness Centers

The 26,000-square-foot Lancaster Laboratories Family Center, located just a minute's walk from our main laboratory facility, houses our child-care and adult day-service programs. A community fitness center is located nearby. The Hildebrandt Learning Center offers child-care for children from six weeks through kindergarten, a summer day camp, and a before-and-after-school program. The center also has programs that provide drop-in care for school-age children on snow days and school holidays. Employees receive a discount off the regular child-care rates through company subsidies. Lancaster Generations provides day-care services for adult family members who need assistance during the day. The program is an alternative to residential care. The Conestoga Valley Community Center is a professionally staffed fitness center that includes individualized fitness plans, aerobic, yoga, pilates and a variety of other classes, cardiovascular equipment, strength training equipment, and a full-court gym. Wellness programs help employees with lifestyle changes such as smoking cessation, weight reduction, and stress management. Annual membership is discounted for employees and a payroll deduction plan is available.
