Quality Assurance

The administration of our QA Program is the responsibility of the Quality Assurance Officer, in cooperation with all levels of management. To ensure that corrective actions are taken immediately, the QA Officer reports directly to the President. The Quality Assurance Officer does not have any direct supervisory responsibility for the generation of technical data thus avoiding any "conflict of interest" which could interfere with the QA Program.

We have a QA Program that:

Yields data capable of withstanding the rigors of regulatory review and legal scrutiny

Has staff members trained in the chain-of-custody procedure

Prepares Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) for large, complex projects identifying analytical objectives and defining specific requirements and procedures

Quality Awards

Lancaster Laboratories received the American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) 2001 Seal of Excellence Award for demonstrated ethics, customer service, and quality in participating environmental laboratories.

The American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters & Chartered Financial Consultants presented us with the 1996 American Business Ethics Award for exemplifying a strong commitment to ethical business practices in everyday operations and philosophies.
Training
We have an extensive in-house training program. All employees go through thorough orientation, safety, quality, and ethics programs. We also provide opportunities for learning and growth through our various technical training programs that cover topics such as GC/MS principles, statistics, math for chemistry, and other instrument training. These programs help us to grow from within and keep a stable and consistent workforce.
