Survey says... Lancaster Labs is number 1

Pharmaceutical Technology’s 2005 survey of contract-lab users names Lancaster Laboratories most often when repondents were asked who they prefer to do business with. That continues a tradition. On each of the magazine’s biennial surveys since 1996, Lancaster Labs has been identified as respondents’ favorite lab. The following methodology was used in the February survey: Pharmaceutical Technology e-mailed the survey to 2,000 subscribers with primary job responsibilities in R&D, QA/QC, engineering/validation, and corporate management. Of that number, 315 qualified contract-lab users completed the survey for a response rate of 16 percent. These 315 industry insiders ranked 13 different contract laboratories on each of five important criteria for lab selection. Lancaster Labs swept the field, achieving the most favorable rankings in each category. According to Pharmaceutical Technology, “Lancaster Laboratories clearly led the way in customer service, meeting project deadlines, price of services, regulatory expertise and scientific expertise in achieving a good or higher rating.” “Needless to say, we are pleased and proud of the results,” says Dr. Wilson Hershey, Lancaster’s president. “These positive ratings from people who know the lab business tell us that we’re succeeding in meeting our goal of providing excellent quality and service for our clients.”
